THE TRAINED NURSES ASSOCIATION OF INDIA Established 1908. 107 Glorious Years of Association Moving ahead with commitment and dedication…
The Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) is a national organization of nurse professionals at different levels. It was established in 1908 and was initially known as Association of Nursing Superintendents. The Government of India has recognized TNAI as a service organization in 1950. A similar recognition by all the State Governments has been an asset to the promotion of its objectives.
Prof Beena R Thomas
President TNAI
Education is a prime instrument of national purpose and that quality of education is inescapably involved in the quality of the nation. It was a great honor to pen down this noblest profession in few line.
Milestones are reached, touched with modest celebrations and the team sets forth with privileged zeal and enthusiasm to accomplish new dreams. In other words, the minute the concept of quality touches our life, we are inspired and motivated to raise the bar; as we instinctively want to go beyond our current capabilities to target and achieve excellence. The quest for excellence has assumed paramount importance not only in the field of academic achievements but also in leadership qualities, curiosity to know more, inter-personal skills etc.
Being a nurse is a profession full of challenges. They give so many patients a reason to smile. The passion they have for the patients care is amazing. I want to Thank you for all that you do. You bring so many so much comfort with your excellent care. You always go above and beyond to make your patients as comfortable as possible.
Over years nursing changed significantly to be an independent profession. “The trained nurse has become one of the great blessings of humanity, taking a place beside the physician and the priest.” Nursing encompasses an art, a humanistic orientation, a feeling for the value of the individual, and an intuitive sense of ethics, and of the appropriateness of action taken. The hard work you do as a nurse and the way you do it with zero complaints is inspiring. You make the world a better place to live in.
I cherish a long time as a nurse ,as educator and an administrator in hospitals and college of Chhatisgarh.
The theme given this year is our nurses, our future the economic power of care. Despite being the backbone of health care, nursing often faces financial constraints and societal undervaluation. Its now a time to reshape perceptions, demonstrating how strategic investment in nursing can bring considerable economic and societal benefits.Nurses are key to healthier communities, responsive societies, thriving economies and powerful nations. Now is the time for policy makers, national and local decision-makers to take decisive steps to build and optimise an enduring, strong and sustainable nursing workforce.
Thank you for your bravery and dedication to your patients. You have such an impact on those that you care for. Keep up the amazing work. On behalf of CGTNAI.

OUR NURSES, OUR FUTURE, NUTURE ECONOMIC POWER OF CARE, 2024
I feel delighted and obliged to introduce me. I feel blessed to be in a service dedicated to heal those who are sick and injured. I joined nursing in the year 1993.Starting this incredible journey from Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Gwalior to Dhamtari and then to Mother Terresa college of Nursing.By grace of almighty and the selfless dedication and commitment towards work I was given administrative post in Shri Shankaracharya college of Nursing ,Hudco Bhilai. Experiencing a Sixteen long years of heading the institution as Principal, I am now the Nursing Director of Shri Shankaracharya institute of Medical Sciences and Professor at Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand college of Nursing, Junwani. Adding feathers to my career and a strong urge to uplift the knowledge in nursing I acquired Doctrate in Nursing. Working as a nurse means signing up to a life that barely pauses. While nurses are strong and hopeful people, challenging times are frequent and nurses find themselves exhausted and needing encouragements to pick them up.
“Work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don’t strive to make your presence noticed, just make your presence felt.”
This day holds special meaning for me. My experience as a staff nurse instilled a passion for nursing and now I ignite that passion in my students. My background allows me to bridge the gap between theory and practice. I strive to equip my students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive, while also emphasizing the empathy and emotional intelligence that are hallmarks of exceptional nursing care. On Nurses' Day, I celebrate all nurses- those providing care and those shaping the future of the profession. To my fellow educators, thank you for nurturing the next generation. To my students, go ahead and light up the world with your skills and compassion.
Happy Nurses' Day to all!
Nurses are the ones who brings comfort, compassion and care to those in need. Nurses work tirelessly to ensure the well-being of patients.
On this Nurses Day, let us honor and celebrate this incredible and noble profession which makes a difference in the world every day.
Thank you Nurses, for all the contributions made towards Health - For Economic & Social Prosperity.
Nurses are the Real Heroes of the Healthcare World
Nurses are the real heroes of the healthcare world. Their courage, dedication and perseverance have become invaluable. Their daily work, commitment, hardship and courage can be called heroism, especially when in times of epidemics or pandemics. They risk their own lives to care for and support those most in need. They put their own lives in danger to assist and care for those who are most in need.
In addition to delivering essential medical care, nurses also offer vital emotional support. They offer comfort, hope, and a hand of empathy to patients and their families. When people are most in need, they assist them.
Although nurses face numerous difficulties in their work, they make a huge difference in the lives of their patients. Without nurses, the world will not win the fight against epidemics or pandemics or achieve the health potential of populations.
Salute to all Nurses……Wishing a Very Happy Nurses Day!!!
As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel...
My experience as Nurse educator at P.G College of Nursing Bhilai (CG) since 1992 has made an impact which transcends the confines of a classroom. This unique opportunity has sculpted generations of student nurses into compassionate caregivers and skilled professionals, poised to navigate the complexities of healthcare with grace and proficiency.
I fully recognize that the role of a nurse educator extends far beyond disseminating textbook knowledge. Being a nurse educator helped me to foster an environment of inquiry, critical thinking, and empathy, instilling in her students not only the requisite skills but also the values that underpin the nursing profession.
The holistic approach to education nurtures the holistic development of aspiring nurses, equipping them with the resilience and adaptability essential for their journey ahead. With proper guidance both in classroom & clinicals, student nurses emerge not merely as practitioners but as advocates for patient-centered care, champions of health equity, and agents of positive change within their communities.
Nurse educators serve as the cornerstone of excellence in nursing education. As we celebrate Nurse's Day, we also honor the invaluable role of nurse educators in shaping the future of healthcare.
Recognizing Nurses' Economic Power: A Testimony on Nurses Day
As we celebrate Nurses Day, it's essential to acknowledge the profound economic power embedded within the realm of care. Nurses, the backbone of our healthcare system, embody this power every day, transcending traditional notions of value solely measured in monetary terms.
In the landscape of healthcare economics, nurses play a multifaceted role that extends far beyond administering medication and tending to patients' physical needs. They are champions of preventative care, advocating for healthy lifestyles and early interventions that ultimately alleviate the strain on healthcare resources and budgets.
Furthermore, the economic power of care extends to the intangible yet invaluable contributions of nurses to society. They provide emotional support, comfort, and compassion to patients and their families during times of vulnerability, fostering resilience and well-being that transcends monetary value.
As we reflect on the economic power of care this Nurses Day, let us not only recognize the tangible contributions of nurses to the healthcare economy but also celebrate the immeasurable impact they have on individuals, communities, and society as a whole. Let us invest in their professional development, prioritize their well-being, and ensure they are empowered to continue shaping a healthier, more prosperous future for us all.

The Occasion Of Nurse Day Reminds Us The Amazing Contributions Made By Nurses Each And Every Day. Wishing All The Nurses A Very Happy Nurse Day
With nearly a two decade of Nursing clinical and academic experience, I dreamed of becoming a Nurse in the year 2000 when me and my family had a desire to pursue career in health care field to assist and care the people in need. I fulfilled this dream by becoming a B.Sc Nurse in 2004 and my passion for patient care helped me to become an efficient cardiac critical care nurse in 2006.
I thought not to restrict myself to Bachelor’s and pursued Masters in Nursing and further M.Phil. Nursing becoming the first and only Nurse with super speciality degree in the state. All the accomplishments could not be possible without the blessings of my mother who taught me the value of serving our Motherland and leaving all desires of a foreign service. On this International Nurses Day I thank my life partner for supporting me for higher studies and my teachers who have mentored me to become what I am today.
Furthering and uplifting my profession my goals as a nurse educator and administrator today is to provide quality nursing education to our budding nurses who are able to function and deliver quality care in today’s challenging World.
